1. Respect other members
Disagree with arguments, not people.
Personal attacks, harassment, insults and deliberate provocation have no place here.

2. Debate in good faith
WarCommons is intended for serious discussion.
You are encouraged to challenge claims, interpretations and sources, but do so constructively.

3. Historical accuracy matters
When making factual historical claims, use reliable sources where appropriate.
If you are uncertain about something, say so.
Nobody is expected to know everything.

4. No deliberate misinformation
Do not knowingly present false information as fact.
If you discover that you were wrong, correcting yourself is encouraged.

5. Stay on topic
Keep discussions relevant to the forum and the topic being discussed.
If a conversation develops into a completely different subject, start a new topic.

6. No spam
Do not create meaningless topics, repetitive replies or other content primarily intended to accumulate ASR or Service Points.

7. Don't manipulate the ranking system
Do not coordinate artificial likes, votes or other activity simply to increase someone's ASR.
The ranking system exists to recognize genuine participation.

8. Respect sources
When sharing material from elsewhere, identify the source.
Do not present someone else's research or writing as your own.

9. Keep discussions constructive
War and history can involve extremely controversial subjects.
Strong disagreement is allowed.
Hostility toward fellow members is not.

10. Moderation
WarCommons reserves the right to remove content or restrict accounts where necessary to protect the quality and integrity of the community.
The objective of moderation is not to suppress disagreement. It is to protect good discussion.
